Tbilisi…Georgia
When I arrived to Tbilisi I just called from a private shop Ugis my Latvian host who I found him through CS. He gave me an address but as always it was not easy to understood people where I want to go. At the beginning the lady who I used her phone asked me 3 GEL which is almost 2$ for just 2 min talk…it wasn’t very pleasant start but I just ignored it and I went to Freedom sq where I met Ugis first. He is living just 5min walk from the main St which is so convenience to travel around the city. Ok first of all let me tell you something about my Latvian friends here in Tbilisi. They are a group of 4boy and a girl who are organizing some outdoor activities here in Georgia. Ugis, Agris, Renars, Gunars and Yana. I very much like what they do here…they organize critical mass, outdoor competition, and trekking programs. They have been here for almost 9 months and I am actually trying to find a way to send them to Iran, they might be able to do something the same in Iran which would be great. Anyway let see what we can do… I arrived in the afternoon, so I was tired and stinky and just jumped to the shower first. Then it was time to start realizing where I am actually and trying to find the way to get things to know. The very first and most important thing which I had to do was getting visa, so I had to find out where about of embassies which I would need them, finding Red Cross addresses and also trying to find a school for my workshop. Ugis kindly gave me his room and he is sleeping in another room which is just kind of him. Also I have Wi-Fi here which is really convenient to do my work and communicate with friends. The following morning I went to the Azerbaijan embassy and then Kazakhstan embassies. I was so lucky as Azerbaijan embassy didn’t keep my passport, so I could apply for 2 visas in the same time and the result for both was successful. So after a long period of time I was feeling free, I could cycle and continue for at least 2 months without being worry about destination. I was wondering what was the reason I couldn’t get my visa in Armenia…while I was there I tried hard but no result. I waited there for a month but I had somewhere to stay, I had someone to share our loneliness and I had a company to spend our time…he was Gagik. I will write about him more in my story in Armenia. Since I am traveling always I was trying to found out how I can trust more and how I can enjoy more from my life. I have learnt that we got what we need just in a time we really need. I needed to stay in Yerevan for such a long time but I had somewhere to stay, it seems that mother Earth kindly kept me there for the spring to arrive, she wants me to enjoy more of nature and see the flowers. It takes me so long to trust this life even though I have been always supported but still it wasn’t easy to keep trusting. Now I am learning to release myself a bit more. Since I have left home there was always a fear about money but to be honest I haven’t had any problem since 2006 when I started my journey first. Even though I was at home for nearly 2 years but I was not working. This time I just started my journey when I had 1.5 $ in my pocket but now after 45 days of traveling still I am fine. many people asking why I am traveling and what I am looking for while I travel? My answer is just one thing….I am going to build my trust very strong. To make it strong you have no way except going in to it, we can trust by our heart when we experience it by our physical body, otherwise there are many people who believe on GOD and who trust but they think of future, they have fear for the next day which is I think all consequence of consummation and technology. It makes you more greedy and more needy for your life. The insurance company always telling you that you need to insure your future life and there is just stress after all these things. When I decided to travel I was looking for an insurance company to insure my life!!! And I did. I was so happy to have insurance, the next year I still liked to have it but the third year, I just hesitated to tell them I don’t need and the fourth year I just escaped and this time I even didn’t think of that. in Yerevan I had to stay for that long and just before Yerevan a car who is actually was driving in the opposite direction stopped and invited me to stay in his house. So I needed to stay somewhere that long and I had it, now I need visas and I got them. Tomorrow I would need money, so I have to receive it. No way…I will have it when I need.
This is what I have learnt in my journey. Anyway here I have enough time to enjoy the city. Tonight I promised my Latvian friends to cook some Iranian food, I was lucky because I found a friend who lives here in Tbilisi, so she could help me to cook as she had all spices and stuff. To be honest she came over and cooked the food but she had no time to stay and have it and just she left when food was ready. Thanks her. So we are just waiting for Ugis to come back and have our Iranian dinner which I am going also to serve it in Iranian way.
